A few years ago (well, actually 7) I spent a few days in Taos, New Mexico. It was there that I was introduced to shrines / nichos / reliquaries - call them what you may, they serve as personal devotional altars. Shrines were prevelant in the Taos galleries and shops. Here, I created a shrine pendant that is an altar to something near & dear to my heart.... Paris.
